Industrial and design models

Objectives: The aim of this course is to introduce industrial production and design models. It focuses primarily on the various problems of industrial rationalization.

Content: The different categories of models and their current resolution techniques are studied, as well as the situations in which these problems arise. In addition, the main production systems are presented: flow management, planning, computer-aided tools, etc., and their evolution in the face of an industrial world now dominated more by design and innovation strategies. Emphasis is placed on the applicability of these techniques, and a distinction is made between reasoning-based and organization-based models.
